Ghanaian with Leather Handles

Artisans in the Bolgatanga region of Ghana weave this shopper basket from thick twists of elephant grass. The grass is dyed in an array of colors, and then each weaver creates patterns as they weave, making every basket unique. 

Crafted from: Elephant grass, dye and leather handles.

Care Instructions: Spray the basket with cool water, press the grass into shape, and let it air dry.
